Profitable dental marketplace operating across 48 states; backed by $50M+ from Bessemer, American Express, Health Velocity Capital & Felicis; launching an AI-powered Revenue Cycle Management product with a long-term vision to become a full finance/revenue OS for dental practices.
Year of Experience: 6 – 12 years ideal
Scope of Role
Senior Full-Stack Engineer who leans heavily frontend, working primarily on Torch’s new AI-powered Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) product while also contributing to the existing Marketplace. The RCM product is designed to automate the complex back-and-forth between dental practices and insurance companies, including insurance management, communication, evidence, claims, payment posting, reconciliation and bookkeeping, using an agentic AI platform.
The engineer will build fast, intuitive frontend experiences using React and TypeScript, own features end-to-end from UI/component and state management through API integration and deployment, and contribute to backend APIs and data models using Python/FastAPI. They will work closely with product and business stakeholders to translate customer problems into simple, high-quality product experiences.
The role requires someone who is genuinely strong on the frontend, not a backend-heavy full-stack engineer with limited UI experience. They should have strong UI fundamentals, attention to product quality, and experience making implementation and architectural decisions. They will also participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and engineering standards, mentor other engineers, and use AI/coding agents as part of their development workflow.
The ideal candidate has 6–12 years of software engineering experience, strong React/TypeScript expertise, full-stack experience, and ideally experience in B2B SaaS, workflow-heavy products, payments/billing, insurance, healthcare, marketplaces or vertical software.
